About Bo's Steak House

Tucked away in the charming landscape of Franklinton, Louisiana, Bo's Steak House offers a dining experience that is both robust and comforting. Located at 30184 LA-25, this steak house has become something of a local legend—not just because of its mouth-watering menu, but also due to the warm, rustic ambiance that makes every visit feel like a special occasion.

Bo’s isn’t just about steaks, though let's face it, that’s a massive draw. The menu, a carnivore's dream, features a delightful array of cuts, each cooked to juicy perfection. It’s the kind of place where a ribeye doesn’t just arrive at the table; it makes an entrance. With a crisp exterior hiding the tender, flavorful center, each steak feels like an event. For those with a taste for variety, the sides are equally notable. Try the garlic mashed potatoes, creamy and rich, or the seasonal vegetables that add a fresh contrast to the hearty main courses.

While the steaks are indeed the stars of the show, giving fair mention to the appetizers seems only proper. The fried calamari is a crunchy, flavorful start to any meal, delivering a punchy, zesty taste that leaves one eagerly awaiting the main course. And for those harboring a sweet tooth, the dessert menu does not disappoint. Chocolate lava cake and homemade pecan pie – it's hard to go wrong with classics executed this well.

Situated conveniently on LA-25, Bo's offers more than just convenience for Franklinton residents and travelers alike. The welcoming atmosphere created by the rustic wooden interiors and friendly staff makes it a favorite haunt for locals. It’s the kind of place where staff know many customers by name, adding that extra layer of personal service which keeps people coming back.

Reviews from satisfied diners rave about the generous portion sizes, the delightful seasoning, and, not least, how the time seems to slow down here, just enough to allow the savoring of every bite. Bo's Steak House has managed to carve out its niche as a go-to spot for folks seeking quality dining outside of big city bustle.

Indeed, when dining at Bo’s Steak House, expectations are bound to be exceeded. A visit provides more than just a meal; it’s an experience marked by good food, good company, and an ever-welcoming spirit. Anyone passing through Franklinton ought to make a detour to this hidden gem. One steak at Bo's, and it’s clear why it’s more than just a restaurant—it’s a dining destination.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 — Jonathan Kittrell
We went to Bo's knowing we wanted steak; so, we cannot review the buffet. Our server was attentive and checked on us often. We both ordered the filet mignon and it was TENDER. Also, opted for the steamed vegetables. Meal came with a salad which you fix yourself. We were very satisfied and appreciate the good experience the staff provided.

I asked for medium-rare, and they brought me a masterpiece. The steak was so tender I genuinely forgot I had teeth. 10/10, will probably dream about this fila mignon tonight.

Steaks were expensive but worth it. Seafood buffet was too salty for me. Others may like it but I'll take the steak any day. Very tender and TASTY!

Absolutely loved it. The prime rib was so tender and seasoned just right. It was so big I couldn't eat it all. Great service and friendly people.
